In 2024, I drove the entirety of Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. 2500 miles, 8 states, countless stories, and an endless stretch of small towns, neon, diners, motels, and roadside attractions. Turn left at the Y-intersection onto National Old Trails Highway 0.5 miles beyong the last off ramp. Turn left onto Park Rd. Join I-40 westbound at the River Rd. Cutoff exit. Continue on I-40 westbound.
